Baby shower time!! Some friends of mine asked me to do the cupcakes for a baby shower of one of our friends. She is having a precious baby boy in May. Today was the big day. I wish I had a picture of how they decorated the hall. It was so cute and the cupcakes ending up matching their decorations great!

I tried to do something fun for my sons 3rd birthday and thought this turned out adorable!! The kids really loved it.
My mother in law asked me to make something for one of her best friends who is turning 80 years old tomorrow. She is such a sweet and funny lady that I have grown to adore since meeting my husband so I was excited to do this for her. I pretty much could do what I wanted so I decided to make her a bouquet of birthday flowers that she and her friends could enjoy :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY TINY!!!
I sat here forever trying to decide what path I wanted to go in with these cupcakes. I love when people say "just whatever you want to do" when they order. One it makes me feel great that they trust that I will come up with something good and two it gives me a little freedom to play around with colors and design. So after I got started I knew I wanted to do the orange and white. It reminds me of creamsicle and I think it is a pretty combo. After that I was stumped on what would go good with that. So I ended up going with the colors of sherbet and I loved how they turned out. The design is one of my favorites to do. I think it always turns out pretty. So I loved these. They make me think of summer and if there is one thing I like thinking about right now it is warm weather!! I am ready for it!
For my mother in laws birthday I decided to make a cupcake cake. I didn't have much time to put it all together and didn't remember to take the picture until I was loading it into the box so it isn't a very pretty picture but wanted to throw it on here anyway.

Something about chocolate, lots of icing, and oreos all together makes me very happy.
60 truffles and 300 cupcakes made this week. All but 2 dozen monsters (picture will be in seperate post) in the whole bunch was dedicated to Valentine's Day this week. I have already posted a lot of them but here is the rest of them. I hope everyone enjoys and has a great Valentine's Day!!

I barely got the pictures before my little bugs ate them up! They loved them. I can't decide if I like my very first bug (first post) the best or if I like these. These are a lot more stable and won't break as easy but there is something about my first one ever that holds a special place in my heart. I have to give him credit for starting this whole obsession :)
**Just for the record I HATE the red that they are sitting on. Wishing now I had made that white so they would show better and the picture would have turned out better. You live and learn**
